The is sung as around. I know only a portion of the song :
The violin sing with joyful ring, The violin sing with joyful ring
The Clarinet, the Clarinet goes doodle, doodley, doodley, doodley, det.
The Horn, the horn, sounds so forlorn. The Horn, the horn, sounds so forlorn.
Does anyone know the author and the rest of the lyrics?

Melody:
The vi-o-lin singing with lovely ringing, the violin singing with lovely song.

Harmony:
The clarinet, the clarinet, goes doodle, doodle, doodle, doodle-det;
the clarinet, the clarinet, goes doodle-doodle-doodle-det.

Low voice - Two notes:
The drums playing two tones, they're always the same tones
High low, Low-high, high-high-high low.

Middle voice - one note repeated except last "lorn" is lower.
The horns, the horns, awake me at morn. The horns the horns they sound so forlorn.

I remember that there was a "conductor" for four sections and we built the four parts in this order until all four parts were layered. We called it the "Orchestra Chorus" back in the 1960's camps.

I'm trying to remember the chorus that went with the four parts mentioned above. Could it be the following?:
"Ump sa sa, la musicale, umpsala, umpsala" (2)

I think that might be the chorus to a similar song, not the one referred to as "Orchestra Chorus."

Our version was similar to kmjaxon's but the low voice lyrics were:

The tympany's two tones are always the same tones:
Five one, one five, five-five-five-five one.

(This whole part is sung on the tonic and fifth notes, thus:
The two tones are always the
tympany's same tones...
(The second line uses the notes of the lyrics.)
